My name is Isadora, and I set up Wainwright Family Support to ensure children, parents, and families receive the right help during times of challenge or uncertainty. As a qualified psychologist with a doctorate in counselling psychology, I specialise in supporting children’s emotional well-being and guiding families through complex or transitional phases.
Whether your child is navigating a period of change, experiencing difficulties with impulse control, or feeling out of sorts, I’m here to provide compassionate, tailored support that meets their unique needs. While many children benefit from a carefully designed therapeutic plan, I also collaborate with professionals in related fields—such as occupational therapists and speech and language therapists—when necessary. Autism and ADHD assessments can also be conducted to ensure their needs are fully understood and met both at home and at school.
Together, whatever the struggle your family is facing, we’ll explore the challenges your family is facing with a holistic, thoughtful approach, creating solutions that foster growth, confidence, and harmony.
My name is Isadora Wainwright, and I am the Director of Wainwright Family Support, which I have been running since 2022 with the aim of providing in-depth, holistic support for families and children. I specialise in working with children (ages 4-17), focusing on their well-being, emotional development, and behaviour. My approach is compassionate and tailored, helping both children and families navigate challenging times—whether it’s through transitions, impulse control struggles, or simply when a child is not feeling themselves.
In our work together, I strive to create a safe, nurturing environment where children feel empowered to express themselves and find the support they need to thrive. I offer in-clinic sessions, school visits, and home sessions to ensure comprehensive and accessible support. By engaging in open conversations, we develop personalized support plans that respect each child’s strengths and unique needs. In addition to general support, I specialize in autism assessments, ensuring that children receive the right guidance and care for their journey forward.
Available both in-person and online
Our clinics offer children a welcoming, child-friendly environment unlike traditional clinical spaces.
Home & School Visits
For those who prefer an even more familiar environment, we offer Home Visits as long as a private space is available. We can also arrange School Visits, ensuring that therapy fits seamlessly into your child’s school day, minimising disruption to their routine and keeping family time intact. Our flexible approach helps us meet each family’s unique needs in a supportive, adaptable way.
